Description

Westbound Brattle St (right behind 527 Mount Auburn St) used to have a "no left turn" sign at this intersection of Mount Auburn and Brattle. This intersection is only for traffic coming FROM Mount Auburn St onto Brattle - if you're going westbound on Brattle St and want to get onto Mount Auburn, you're supposed to proceed straight (past the medical offices on the right) and get onto Mount Auburn street down there. I'm not sure if it was stolen or removed during recent construction, but there used to be a sign here that is no longer there. I live right on this corner and I've seen a bunch of accidents and experienced plenty of near-misses myself. There should be a do not enter or no left turn sign here so people going from Brattle to Mount Auburn don't drive into oncoming traffic.
