Construction site at 2823 Gainesville St, SE is a hazardous mess. Mud, algae and other sediment runs into the rear parking lot of 2829 Gainesville St, SE. This has been going on for several years with nothing done about it.

This has been terrible for me to deal with since I have lived here. I live in the building next to this eyesore and the fact this crap exists makes me want to move more and more. The sewage/water runoff from this location has made our rear lot (2829 Gainesville St, SE) a pure swamp mess. There is a permanent water/sewage trail that leads from this construction and bisects our private parking lot. Misquitos and algae infested water hinder our ability to walk from our building to the trash dumpsters and our parked cars. Kids play in the site. It is a matter of time before one of those kids slip, fall and drown. This is an eyesore that needs to be 1)sealed off, 2) cleaned up and 3) and drained (PLEASE DRAIN THE WATER IN THE SEWER AND NOT OUR REAR LOT!!!!). DCRA HELP!!! IF ANYONE FROM DCRA NEEDS TO CONTACT ME, call me at (202)506-2301. Ask for Hill.

Several mattresses and other pieces of furniture were dumped in the alley across from 2829 Gainesville St, SE. The material is blocking the alley and has been there for more than two weeks.

There is a lot next to 2829 Gainesville were a building was being constructed. The construction company was found to be in violation of DCRA regulations and was issued a stop-work order. However, they continue to dump mounds of dirt there and in the process, overtaking a private parking lot. The site is dangerous and kids are playing inside. Please help.
